Reporting & Impact 101
Track engagement across your Wellness Center and your sponsored schools, measure program impact, and report to your stakeholders.
This guide walks you through the reporting features across the Manager—the Direct Reports section (Articles, Coaches, Calculators, Courses, Leads, Rewards, and the Financial Wellness Assessment) and the School Reports section (Orders, Teachers, and the Impact Tab)—and shows you how to turn that data into compelling stories for your executive board, marketing teams, community, and compliance officers.
What's in Direct Reports?
The Direct Reports section in the Banzai Manager serves as your central command center for measuring retail financial wellness engagement, user behavior, and pipeline growth. The data is organized into clear, actionable dashboards that give you high-level totals at a glance, while allowing you to drill down into specific user actions, content performance, and lead data.
The Core Reporting Features
Articles, Coaches, Calculators, & Courses. Individual dashboards providing deep analytical visibility into content consumption. Track page views, unique visitors, sessions, and active users across your interactive financial tools to see what topics (like budgeting, buying a home, or credit building) resonate most with your audience.
Leads. A direct registry of contact information generated straight from your Direct wellness content. This log captures high-intent users, making it easy to bridge the gap between financial education and product acquisition.
Rewards & Legacy Rewards. Logs tracking user milestones and incentives earned. This gives your team visibility into completion rates and allows you to audit cash or account bonuses tied to your wellness initiatives.
Financial Wellness Assessment. A macro-level reporting tool that tracks the baseline financial health and behavioral shifts of your users over time, providing the high-level data needed to prove real consumer impact.
What's in School Reports?
The School Reports section in the Banzai Manager serves as your central command center for measuring school and community investment and reach. The data is organized into clear, actionable dashboards that give you high-level totals at a glance, while allowing you to drill down into the specifics of individual schools and educators.
The Core Reporting Features
The Overview Dashboard. Tracks your real-time footprint, providing instant data on activities, workbook orders, presentation requests, active teachers, and feedback.
The Teachers List. A direct registry of your sponsored educators. Instantly access teacher emails, sign-up dates, and school details to easily measure the success of your local outreach campaigns.
The School Comments Page. A live feed of teacher and student feedback, bringing real-world stories and a human element to your program's data.
The Sponsor Impact Page. A public-facing page displaying your key stats and school list, making it easy to share your community impact in marketing, partnerships, and reports.
How Partners Typically Use the Banzai Manager Reporting Data
The partners who are using the Manager reporting features to their fullest do not let digital data sit idle. They integrate it into their weekly, monthly, or quarterly workflows using these common strategies:
On the Direct/Community side:
- They optimize marketing & content strategy. Teams look at Article and Calculator usage to see which financial pain points are currently trending in their market. If inflation or high interest rates drive a spike in Savings Calculator usage, marketing teams might pivot their email newsletters and social content to match that demand.
- They audit incentive campaigns. Marketing managers monitor the Rewards tab to measure the ROI of financial wellness campaigns (e.g., "Complete the Checking Account Course and get a $25 reward"), ensuring payouts align with active user completions.
On the Schools side:
- Teams copy and paste teacher testimonials directly into local press releases, social media highlights, or member newsletters to showcase the institution's localized community giving.
- By identifying schools with high engagement and glowing feedback, teams pin down perfect candidates for deep-dive case studies, video features, or photo-ops.
- Compliance and outreach managers monitor activity trends to tailor their support. A thriving school that hasn't refreshed its physical supplies is a prime candidate for workbook outreach, while a dip in interaction helps teams identify which schools need a quick check-in.
Build an Impact Narrative
Data points like page views, session counts, or workbook shipments are just raw numbers until you tie them back to your institution's core strategic goals. To build a compelling impact narrative, combine your content metrics (from Articles, Coaches, and Courses) with your conversion metrics (from Leads and Rewards) and your school-side quantitative data (from Orders and Teachers) with your qualitative stories (from the Impact Tab).
Depending on your institution type, your reporting framework should be structured to address your specific stakeholder needs.
1. For Financial Institutions: Product Conversion & Community Engagement
To justify marketing spend and support retail growth, compliance and growth officers need to prove they are driving meaningful consumer action.
- Use the Leads metrics and document the flow of qualified leads from interactive Coaches into completed product applications to serve as concrete proof of digital marketing ROI.
- Use aggregate data from the Financial Wellness Assessment to show how your institution is systematically improving the financial literacy of your local market footprint. Use that angle to prepare an excellent narrative for community relations (blog posts, news interviews, etc.) and brand PR.
- Combine total sessions and unique users across Articles, Coaches, and Courses into high-impact visual infographics for your annual report to showcase deep digital member engagement.
- Cross-reference marketing pushes with the Rewards tab to demonstrate how incentivized education successfully drives digital institutioning adoption and deepens product cross-selling.
- Use the Workbook Orders metrics to quantify your tangible educational contributions. Documenting the shipment of physical educational materials to Title I schools serves as concrete proof of a qualified Community Development Investment.
- Use Presentation Requests for schools to coordinate and track employee volunteer hours. Documenting staff members presenting Banzai lessons in LMI (Low- and Moderate-Income) classrooms satisfies the rigorous requirements of the CRA Service Test.
- Host community financial workshops to connect with prospective and current clients. These educational sessions establish trust around key topics while offering a natural opportunity to introduce relevant products, like CDs and home loans, to grow your customer base.
- Combine your total Active Students and Active Teachers metrics from the Overview Dashboard into high-impact visual infographics for your annual ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) or member report.
- Cross-reference marketing pushes with the Teachers List signup dates. Demonstrating a spike in teacher registrations immediately following a back-to-school campaign proves the efficiency of your marketing spend.
- Weave direct student quotes from the Impact Tab into executive summaries to remind your board of directors of the real-world financial literacy gap your financial institution is filling.
2. For CDFIs: Target Market Empowerment & Grant Reporting
Certified Community Development Financial Institutions use Banzai data to uphold their federal certification requirements and fuel highly competitive grant applications.
CDFIs must offer educational services alongside financial products. Automated tracking of Courses, Coaches, and school Development Services provides the U.S. Treasury Fund with airtight, auditable verification of the volume and intensity of your consumer and community Development Services.
- Study the results from the Financial Wellness Assessment to identify structural financial weaknesses in your target market (e.g., low savings metrics or high debt stress). Use that data to directly justify the need for specific credit-building loan products or technical assistance programs in your annual Performance Report.
- When applying for federal or private foundation awards, use the quantitative usage data from your Calculators and Coaches to prove your institution's digital capability to scale financial empowerment within distressed communities.
- Automated Schools Sponsored, Teachers Served, and Students Educated metrics provide the U.S. Treasury Fund with airtight verification of the volume and intensity of your required Development Services.
- Export your Schools List and cross-reference school addresses with CDFI-qualified census tracts (Investment Areas). Proving your Banzai deployment is heavily concentrated in these target zones satisfies your annual Data Collection Report (ACR) alignment requirements.
- When applying for Technical Assistance (TA) or Financial Assistance (FA) federal awards, paste qualitative Teacher Comments directly into your grant narratives to validate your market responsiveness and back up your quantitative workbook shipment history.
